Loading ACSM files into Mantano Lite

Joseph Mar 18, 2013 11:52PM CET

Is there a way to load or import ACSM files I get from my library into Mantano Lite (v1.2.6)? When I check out an ePub from my library, I get an ACSM file. I've added my Digital Editions login info, but my Android devices do not give an option to open this file format with Mantano, as it does Overdrive or Moon+ Reader. Nor does Mantano recognize this format during import. How do I get these files to be recognized by Mantano?

Thank you for contacting us.

In 1.2.7, we have improved the rules to open ACSM files from the browser.

Please find information about ACSM on the following page:

Best regards

We have forgot to mention that you need to save the attached acsm file before to open it. If you open it directly, it just won’t work.

Note: ACSM file type been added to the intent filters of the AndroidManifest.xml

I successfully loaded a DRM protected PDF file from a public Library following these instructions. But since I had both the ACSM and PDF books already downloaded with ADE, is there a way to just import the protected book without downloading again. I tried Bluefire Reader and after authorizing the application, I was able to import just the PDF file without the ACSM file (following a verification of the loan by the application). Why Mantano can not just import the book copied in the defined "Import" directory?
Best Regards ( Iam a new user evaluating your free version which I find to be the best in the Android Market).
